A Tale of Two Stingers is a Spotlight Mission featuring Scorponok and Waspinator that started on August 1.

Chapter 1 - Venom

Battle is Compulsory

Part 1

Marissa Faireborn: Commander? Good, it's just you and your squad. I have a covert mission.

Scorponok and Waspinator have been gathering scrap and assembling something.

Follow them and report back. They may be hard to find--

Waspinator: OVER HERE! WAZZZPINATOR IZZZ YELLING! COME HERE SNAPPY-CLAWZZZ!

Marissa: I am both impressed AND disappointed. Keep driving them forward, I'll have someone meet you up ahead.

Part 2

Scorponok: WHICH WAY DID YOU GO!

Waspinator: OVER HERE! WAZZZPINATOR FOUND MORE MATERIALZZZ!

Kickback: Keep it down-down! I am trying to stalk the Maximal cat-cat!

Scorponok: CHEETOR? I'm on board, where do we find him?

Waspinator: DO NOT GET DIZZZTRACTED!

Scorponok: I'M NOT DISTRACTED! I'M JUST DOING SOMETHING ELSE FOR A BIT!

Kickback: Enough-enough! I will make you quiet myself-myself!

Part 3

• Cheetor: That saved me a bit of trouble, thanks you two...now scram!
• Scorponok: When did you get here?
• Cheetor: Been tracking you for a while. Figured your noise would good cover, and it was!
• Waspinator: Kitty-bot izzz lazy, not driven like mighty Predaconzzz!
• Cheetor: This has been fun but I can't get off track. Commander, Primal sent me to--
• Scorponok: Ah hah! A distraction! Just like we thought. Time to declaw this cat...
• WITH MY CLAWS.
• Waspinator: WORD PLAY! CLEVER!

Words, Words, Words

Part 1

• Scorponok: It feels like everyone is having big adventures without us.
• Waspinator: Wazzzpinator getzzz that feeling too. We are but playerzzz and all the world izzz a stage.
• Scorponok: Huh? Wait...does that sound like a sword fight?
• Waspinator: It soundzzz like metal hitting metal. ALL fighting soundzzz like that.
• Scorponok: Let's go check it out. Could be something to salvage after.

Part 2

• Cyclonus: Do you know how many have fallen to my blade? I have stood alongside Titans!
• Dinobot: Words, words, words. I only need one strike, and the rest is silence.
• Scorponok: DINOBOT! I THOUGHT I SMELLED A RAT!
• Waspinator: Other Maximal izzz a rat, Dinobot izzz a dino...bot!
• Cyclonus: Are they with you?
• Dinobot: They very much are not.
• Cyclonus: Then you shall not miss them when they are gone.

Part 3

• Dinobot: You are both honorless vermin.
• Scorponok: You talk a lot about honor for a double-dealing, two-faced, double-crosser!
• Waspinator: ALSO YOU CHANGED SIDEZZZ!
• Scorponok: Shut up! I got this!
• Waspinator: YEAH SHUT UP! HE HAZZZ IT!
• Dinobot: I did not think it possible to become as damaged as the pair of you.
• Scorponok: We are just FULL of surprises today!

Chapter 2 - Toxin

At Terrible Odds

Part 1

• Scorponok: I'm absolutely certain we are now away from any danger.
• Hound: FIRE IN THE HOLE!
• Bludgeon: You call that pathetic puff of smoke "fire"? I'll show you fire-power!
• Scorponok: Get down! Get up! GET GONE!
• Waspinator: Wazzzpinator can't move! Too many explosionzzz!
• Hound: Clear out bug-brains! We're in the middle of a high-noon shoot-out here!
• Bludgeon: This is not a duel, it is an execution!

Part 2

• Hound: I value the target practice, but we were kinda' in a one-on-one thing.
• Bludgeon: By all means, add them to YOUR team. You could use the help.
• Waspinator: Predaconzz will not help car-bot!
• Hound: You heard fly-face! You take' em, they'll be buzzing around your body soon enough anyways!
• Bludgeon: I SAID YOU TAKE THEM!
• Hound: I SAID THE SAME TO YOU!
• Waspinator: Wazzzpinator is so popular!

Part 3

• Scorponok: There ya' go. One Autobot with this engine light flashing. You're welcome.
• Bludgeon: WELCOME? I am WELCOME? You have robbed me of a glorious battle!
• Waspinator: But... we helped. We saved you.
• Bludgeon: You worthless, meaningless, pathetic wastes of a spark think you SAVED ME?
• Scorponok: We phrased it a LOT nicer than you did but...yeah?
• Bludgeon: I WILL NOT BE DENIED A VICTORY THIS DAY!

Stark Raving Sane

Part 1

• Scorponok: We're in over our steps. Heading out of depth. Stepping out of our heads...It's all heading to a dead stop!
• Waspinator: Your wordzzz are all mixed up! Juzzzt like your head!
• Scorponok: We need some brain-power in here. Soundwave probably has some tech lying around.
• Waspinator: AGREED! All sortzzz of tech! Spy toolzzz and tapezzz that become birdzzz!
• Scorponok: Yeah maybe just the spy tools.
• Waspinator: ...Birdzzz...

Part 2

• Rhinox: Alright, it took some doing but the Molecular Transfer Device is offline!
• Soundwave: UNACCEPTABLE! Maximal interference has denied Decepticons Energon access!
• Waspinator: WE ARE HERE FOR YOUR TAPE BIRDZZZ!
• Soundwave: ...
• Commence termination of Predacon lifeforms.

Part 3

• Scorponok: You happy now? Help collect some of this before he gets back up.
• Rhinox: I don't know what your game is, but you're not getting the Molecular Transfer Device.
• Scorponok: The Monkey-Transit-what-now? Is that the stick-thing Primal used to fly on?
• Waspinator: WE'LL TAKE IT!
• Rhinox: You got some chrome bearings on you.
• Waspinator: Thank you! Device now?
• Rhinox: Over my slagged body.

Chapter 3 - Poison

Burning Bridges

Part 1

• Scorponok: All this stuff but no power source. Bet Prime power could get our plan going.
• Waspinator: Ape Prime not Truck Prime. Don't know how to deal with wheelzzz.
• Scorponok: Fine, we'll just sneak up on Primal and steal his Matrix. How hard could that be?
• Waspinator: Wazzzpinator trackzzz Primal over ridge! He izzz fighting Bully Bot!
• Scorponok: Tarantulas is here?!
• Waspinator: Different bully.

Part 2

• Optimus Primal: For the last time Tantrum, I'm not here for a fight.
• Tantrum: Any Bot without a Decepticon symbol is good as junk. Got a reputation to keep up.
• Waspinator: Friend Decepticon! Give Primal the hornzzz!
• Tantrum: All this headbuttin' has me in a haze. I'm seeing two bees.
• Waspinator: NOT TWO BEEZZZ! Wazzzpinaotr and Scorponok! Don't you know?
• Tantrum: Is that a question? I can't keep track of every bug wandering in and out of here.
• Scorponok: We ain't bugs...well half the time we are..but, we're Predacons the whole time!
• Tantrum: What you are, is in my way. Looks like I got to squash you before I go!

Part 3

• Optimus Primal: Faireborn, are you still reading?
• Marissa Faireborn: Right here Optimus. Situation report?
• Optimus Primal: The Commander has lead the pair right to me, But, I can not judge what they were trying to make.
• Scorponok: Same thing we were trying to make the other month, we need a Space Bridge!
• Optimus Primal: None of the materials you are carrying could possibly make a bridge, space or otherwise.
• Waspinator: Enough partzzz and we would have figured it out!
• Optimus Primal: This ends now. I suggest you focus on keeping this planet together, not rupturing it further.
• Waspinator: Wazzzpinator suggezzzt you get WRECKED!

• Scorponok: You know what I think?
• Waspinator: Wazzzpinator barely knowzzz what HE thinkzzz!
• Scorponok: I think know why we keep messing up!
• Waspinator: Good! What can we change to be the best botzzz here?
• Scorponok: This whole time, this whole mission, ever since I GOT HERE you know who we never tried to attack?
• Waspinator: WHO? TELL! TELL WAZZZPINATOR!
• Scorponok: THE COMMANDER!

• Waspinator: Commander! Thatzzz who hazzz been following all along!
• Scorponok: I thought something was up, we barely fought the Bots we ran into. They were just sitting there behind their little gang.
• Waspinator: UNFAIR! THEY NEED TO FIGHT TOO!
• Scorponok: You're scrapping right they do! I say we make the Commander pay, make them suffer, make them know our WRATH!
• ...you go first.
• Waspinator: WITH PLEAZZZURE! WAZZZPINATOR! TERRORIZZZE!

• Scorponok: Feeling big? Just you and me now! What do you have to say for yourself?
• Commnander: ...
• Scorponok: Yeah, I figured that's exactly how you'd respond to a REAL challenge.
• Marissa Faireborn: Commander! We have your location locked, do you need back-up?
• Scorponok: NO. This is going to get settled between me and you and your pathetic team.
• SCORPONOK! TERRORIZE!
