Arena

The Arena is a versus game mode in which players can fight other player teams to earn Arena Crystals, milestone prizes and rank rewards.

How to play

For each match, you choose three of your Bots and pay 350 Gold, then select one of the three opponents Commander's teams given. They are random selections from other Commanders bots which are AI controlled, and can sometimes be CPU-generated "Optimus Team" or "Megatron Team" (You can change the selection for 5 Energon) Win 2 out of 3 fights to win a series and small amount of Gold and increase your win streak and score multiplier, up to 3x. As you win more matches, you will face higher-ranked Bots. If you lose a series, the win streak, score multiplier, and difficulty will be eset.

All of your bots can be used in the arena, regardless of their status on base defense, away missions, or missions. Each Bot has a cooldown period, counting down from when a bot is entered into a match . Bots with higher star ratings yield more points, but have longer cooldowns. You can ask for help from other Alliance members to shorten a Bot's cooldown and gain a small Arena Attack boost (max 20 stacks).

• 1-Star: ~452~ points, 1.5 hours, instant recharge for 5 Energon
• 2-Star: ~825~ points, 2 hours, instant recharge for 5 Energon
• 3-Star: ~1,760~ points, 3 hours, instant recharge for 10 Energon
• 4-Star: ~5,443~ points, 4 hours, instant recharge for 15 Energon
• 5-Star: ~6,921 ~points, 7 hours, instant recharge for 30 Energon

Class Clash

Occasional weekly events have arenas for winning crystal shards of Class crystals from Tech Clash to Free-for-Alls.

OLD Bot Arenas

Originally, twice for three days each, there were Bot Arenas for a featured Bot, split into 3-Star and 4-Star Arenas. (There were 2-Star Arenas for the first few Bots) Crystals and shards could be won from milestone and rank rewards, but only a few players could win the featured Bot. 3-Star Arenas only allow 1 and 2-Star Bots to enter, while 4-Star arenas only allow 3-Star Bots.

Arena Updates

From October 6, the arena system was completely rebuilt. [1] There are now only 1-day arenas, each day focusing on one kind of item. All arenas now focus on ranked rewards distributed to more brackets, so the only milestone was a Rank Reward Unlock Ticket at 2,200 points. Arena Crystals are rewarded instead of Arena Chips. Featured Bot Arenas have been replaced with Featured Bot Chip Arenas, which run seven times for two weeks month.

In v6.0, Arenas were updated with milestones, and rank rewards were changed; Arena Crystals are now only awarded in milestones.
