Bio[]

Small, eager, and brave, Bumblebee acts as messenger and spy. Due to his small size, he dares to go where others can’t. He idolizes the bigger Autobots, especially Optimus Prime and Prowl while having a special bond with all his human allies.

Strategy[]

Commander[]

Bumblebee can easily build up Evades and Crit buffs before dashing in. Bumblebee will have a field day tearing through Shielding Bots, so as long as he has a crit buff ready.

Opponent[]

Preventing Bumblebee's Evade Melee on Dashing Back is easy as Precision or Deceleration. But if your bot doesn't have those, you'll have to deal accordingly with him Evading out of combos. Even if you try to dodge to bait out his Specials, he may fill the rest of his power when invading your personal space. He also deals significant critical damage so watch out.

Strong-Match-ups[]

Rhinox - Bumblebee will tear through Rhinox's shielding, leaving him prime for Bee’s critical hits.
Soundwave - Bee can Shield Break with both Ranged and Melee hits, ensuring even the mighty Soundwave can’t Reflect Ranged attacks for long.
Blaster - The little gold speedster will break through Blaster’s Shielding, inflicting Shock damage on him every time he blocks.
Wheeljack - Wheeljack's powerful shield shatters to the goldbug.
Mirage - Mirage will feel the full force of Bumblebee's Shield-Breaking Specials.
Ironhide - A critical melee hit will break his Trythillium Shield buff preventing it from reflecting damage.
Megatron (ROTF) - Like other critical damaging bots, strong Critical hits will outright his Armor even though this G1 version doesn't break. Such a loser!

Energon Shield - It's a Shield buff, so you can break it without having to wait for its downtime.

Weak Match-ups[]

Bonecrusher - The master of Bleeds will punish Bumblebee with every crit.
Dinobot - Bumblebee is rewarded for dashing at opponent’s and staying near them, but dashing into and hitting Dinobot’s block would be a painful mistake.
Hot Rod's Deceleration will disable Bee's Evades and reduce his Power gain.
Megatron - Bee’s evade and critical rate buffs will be stolen when Megatron fuses a random debuff though he has a hard time to steal evade buffs.
Grimlock - The massive damage from the melee buffs and special attacks will take the gold speedster down though he can evade melee attacks and Grimlock doesn't come with any shields which Bumblebee can't inflict Shock for his favor.
Kickback - The Insecticon will easily eat up Bee's Signature in a well-timed. Let the battle of the insects begin!
Megatronus - The relic of obedience can prevent Bee from gaining any buffs however be wary not to get power locked.

Recommended Modules[]

Nightbird's Mark - With both his two major abilities boosted, Bumblebee will become exponentially more powerful.
E.M.I. Module - Bee will gain the ability to Evade Ranged Attacks, forcing you to stay within Melee Range and in turn allowing him to generate power with his Signature Ability.
Scout's Sentry - Bee will be buzzing around and Evading more.

Notes[]

Bumblebee's robot mode design is a mix of his Alternity and Classics toys, while his vehicle mode is based on his Classics toy.
Prior to March 27, 2020, Bumblebee was the only Bot exclusive to and only to his Featured Bot Crystal.
