Cliffjumper may be small in stature but he’s a titan when it comes to bravery! No stunt is too dangerous, no job too tough, and no foe too fearsome! His impulsive nature may get him in a few binds, but it’s nothing his Glass Gas Gun can’t help him break through as it makes even the strongest metals shatter!

Cliffjumper shows off his weapon expertise with double blasters.

Special 3 – Permanent Fractures
Cliffjumper’s Glass Gas Gun can leave a permanent mark on his opponent.

Signature Ability[]
First to Fight - Increase Critical Chance if Cliffjumper lands the first hit of the encounter, Increase Ranged Speed if not.
- If Cliffjumper lands the first hit of combat, he gains +15~30% Critical Chance.
- If the opponent lands the first hit of combat, Cliffjumper gains a permanent Ranged Speed buff for half that amount at +5~15%.
- If either of these Buffs are Nullified, it reactivates after 10 seconds.

Commander[]
Cliffjumper's signature Glass Gas debuffs can be endlessly stacked. However, he has a a pitifully low critical rate and you'll just have to hope on RNG and a small boost from being the first to strike to actually reap the amplified critical damage from Glass Gas. At the least, opponents will take slightly more damage from blocking attacks if they have lots of Glass Gas on them. And Cliffumper has both a passive and active instance when he can boost his Special Damage.

Strong Match-ups:
Bots
- Tacticians – Tacticians tend to have a lot of Nullify abilities, and Cliffjumper gains Ranged Damage if his buffs are taken away. Cliffjumper also gains a Special Attack boost while under the effects of Debuffs like Armor Break.
- Anyone who inflicts non damaging debuff - Cliffjumper will increase his Special Damage and finish the fight in no time.
- Dinobot - The more Glass Gas debuffs inflicted, the weaker Block's Proficiency reduces and Armor Break aren't damaging debuffs which will increase his Special Damage.
- Grimlock - Cliffjumper's Glass Gas Debuffs can't be purified and in turn doesn’t fuel the rage making it one of the few damaging debuffs that bypasses the king lizard’s signature ability.
- Grindor - Though Cliffjumper will be less likely to dish out critical hits, he can at least increase his Special Damage.
- Nemesis Prime, Cyclonus, Starscream, Sideswipe and Ultra Magnus - These bots' nullification will be turned into Cliffjumper's strengths.
Mods
- Strange Refractor - More Glass Gas Debuffs will reduce Block Proficiency.
Weak Match-ups:
- Tech – Cliffjumper relies on his Special Attacks to deal big damage. Many Tech bots apply Power Lock or Power Drain, making it more difficult for Cliffjumper to use his Specials. Some Tech bots also interfere with Ranged Attacks, making it harder for Cliffjumper to stack his Glass Gas Debuffs.
- Megatron - Megatron doesn't nullify Cliffjumper's buffs, but steals them which will ignore his Anti-Nullify ability despite the class type advantage.
- Wheeljack - Glass gas are not damaging debuffs and the massive special damage that Cliffjumper does will be contained by Wheeljack's Force Shield.
- Blaster - What's a determiner without his inflicted Glass Gas debuffs?
- Bonecrusher - This Warrior relies on Bleeds, which Cliffjumper has no answer to.
- Rhinox - Cliffjumper will eventually have a harder time to use his Special Attack, and if he does, the Shocks and Bleeds that Rhinox inflicts will prevent him from dealing higher damage with Specials even though he can hamper Rhinox's Special 1.
- Barricade, Jazz, Scorponok & Slipstream - Cliffjumper is suited for using Specials but every time he activates, he will be punished which is a painful mistake.
- Kickback - Cliffjumper will fail to renews all Glass Gas debuffs while he is T-Clogged.
- Megatron (ROTF) - Megatron relies on Impair Charges, which aren’t even debuffs at all.
- Megatronus - The Master of Demolitions relies on Relic of Obedience, which isn’t a debuff at all and it can weaken Cliffjumper’s abilities leaving him without his most powerful tools.
- Optimus Primal - Given Cliff's already-low crit rate, the King of the Jungle completely disallows any crits when his armor is on. Which also means the determiner can't take advantage of his Glass Gas Debuffs...
Mods
- Cliffjumper will have no match against the Exo-Filter as many Glass Gas will be purified and converted into Health.
- He can't increase his Special Attack while under the effect of Bleed from the Harm Accerelator.
- The E.M.I Module will make sure Cliffjumper won’t be able to make use of his glass gas debuffs.
Recommended Modules:
- Any mods that generate buffs will encourage Cliffjumper's Anti-Nullify
- Nightbird's Mark - Increase Cliffjumper Critical Damage.
- Laser Guidance Module - His ranged attacks will inflict Glass Gas Debuffs easily, thus making it scarier to defeat opponents.
- Superconductor 2000 - He reuses special animations coming from Ironhide.
- Robot Resource - When the opponent inflicts non-damaging Debuffs, that is when Cliffjumper deals the most damage.
- Transwarp Cell - Cliffjumper will more often spam refreshing Glass Gas debuff like crazy.
Trivia[]
- Cliffjumper is a reskin of Bumblebee, but is substantially bigger than Bumblebee and other smaller bots.
- Most of his melee combo animations are from Bumblebee, except for the finishing light attack, which comes from Jazz.
- He uses ground vehicle bots' ranged heavy attack animations.
- His special animations come from Shockwave (SP1), Ironhide (SP2) and Ratchet (SP3)
