Bio[]

One of Optimus’ closest advisers, Jazz is the bot to go to if a creative solution is needed. Jazz is well-versed in the pop-culture trends of the Earthlings and is likely to get distracted dancing to a catchy beat and break out the local slang.

  • Heavy Attacks:
    • 100% Chance to Confuse the opponent, lowering their Attack Rating by 12~20% and increasing the chance they will use a Special Attack for 6 seconds or until their next Special Attack ends.
    • If the opponent is not already Confused, Heavy Attacks grant 100% less Power to the opponent.
  • Avoiding Special Attacks
    • Buff Evade Melee If Jazz avoids being struck by the first hit of a Special Attack he gains an Evasion Buff, granting a 36~44% chance to Evade all attacks for 6 seconds.
  • Combo Meter:
    • Buff Crit Rate Every 5 hits on the Combo Meter, Autobot Jazz gains a Critical Rate Buff, increasing Critical Chance by 5~7% until he is next hit.
  • Critical Hits
    • Buff Crit Damage Critical Hits have +20% Critical Damage against Stunned opponents.

Confused Opponent: While Confused, opponents have a 100% chance to lose 1.5~6% of their Current Power for each missed attack. If the opponent slips down to a lower Bar of Power they are Stunned for 1 second.

Special Attacks[]

  1. Windmill - Jazz sets his plans in motion.
    • Debuff Stun Each hit against a Confused opponent has a 20% chance to Stun the opponent for 3 seconds.
  2. Dazzling Display - Confusion abounds.
    • 100% Chance to Confuse the opponent, lowering their Attack Rating by 12~20% and increasing the chance they will use a Special Attack for 6 seconds or until their next Special Attack ends.
    • This attack Locks the opponent’s Special Attack 3 for as long as they are Confused.
  3. Grapple and Groove - Overwhelming force, with style.
    • Debuff Backfire Inflicts a permanent Backfire Debuff, inflicting 100% of Attack as instant Shock damage when the opponent next activates a Special Attack. This Backfire is not removed when the opponent uses a Special Attack.

  • Synergy-incoming Sabotage Specialists - Slipstream - +5~8~12~15% Backfire Damage.
  • Synergy-outgoing Magnificent Six - Prowl, Wheeljack, Sunstreaker - When Knocked Down, 5~8~12~15% chance to gain +20% Special Damage for 5 seconds. Increases by 5% after each Knock Down.
  • Synergy-outgoing Leadership (5-Star) - +10% Critical Rating.

Player[]

Jazz's quirk is his confusion, which makes it easier to bait out enemies' Specials to dodge them. His secondary perk is Critical Rate buffs based on combos, very similar to Sideswipe.

Pairing him with Optimus' synergy allows him to deal massive damage in addition to constant Crits.

Opponent[]

Avoid getting hit by Jazz's heavy attack. Getting confused will lower your attack rating and missing attacks will drain your power and stun. Though unlike AI-controlled bots, you can choose to not use a special when confused and thus not give Jazz Evade. Also, do not let him use his Special 3 as you do not want a permanent backfire on you.

Strong-Match-ups[]

  • Soundwave has to connect with his second Special Attack, but Jazz will ensure that moment comes at a time of this speedy scout’s choosing.
  • Mixmaster is reliant on his Special Attacks to do a majority of his damage; a skilled Jazz player could easily ensure this Demo bot never sees his third Special Attack.
  • Grimlock - Stacking backfires will ignore the signature ability. Sometimes a king can fall.
  • Megatron (ROTF) - The stronger the critical hits, the Faster Megatron falls, both crits and backfires will ignore Megatron’s tough armor.

Weak Match-ups[]

  • Drift - Jazz likes to Evade; he lives to Evade a lot. Drift’s focus prevents Evasion; a lot of Evasion.
  • Ramjet -Jazz enjoys seeing his opponents Stunned, but Ramjet can ignore Stuns when he has a lot of Momentum and stun him back.
  • Bonecrusher - Recieving critical hits inflicts bleeds. Too many combos means too many bleeds.
  • Megatronus - Jazz loves to crit , evade and Backfire. He lives crit and evade a lot however The relic of obedience will prevent any of these to happen.
  • Necrotronus - Jazz will find that he has a lot of mistakes since Necrotronus's Special 1 is hard to avoid the first hit. This means no more evades for Jazz even though he can drain power with confusion and inflict Backfire.

Recommended Modules[]

  • Scout's Sentry - Jazz can easily Power Drain his opponent when both his Signature Ability and the Scout’s Sentry are draining their power.
  • Strange Refractor/Paralyzer - When the opponent Stuns themselves, that’s when Jazz deals the most damage.
  • Nightbird's Mark - Jazz loves to Crit, he lives to Crit a lot. A Nightbird's Mark lets him dish out more Crits, Crits with added punch.

  • Jazz's robot design is based on the "third party" toy Toyworld TW-M05 Coolsville.
  • His vehicle mode is based on 1976-1981 Martini Porsche 935 Turbo but the logo is removed (especially the sponsored logos like - Martini,Bosch,Shell,Bilstein & KKK Turbolader.) to avoid the licensing issues. while the side of the spoiler is like a homage to Cookie Crisp variant.
