Raid Chips are a currency used to purchase items in the Raid Store. They are primarily earned through Raids, but they can be also earned through Away Missions and Alliance Quests.
Your Raid Chip stash, unlike other currencies, is fluid, as they can be stolen from your Base by other Commanders. A successful attack an a base gives a Commander 10% of the opponent Commander's current amount of chips. A successful base defense gives a Commander around 500-600 Raid Chips. Defeating a Base Defender also gives a small amount of Raid Chips; the higher the Bot's rating, the more chips awarded.
It is recommended to leave Raid Chips earned in Alliance Quests unclaimed as a temporary untouchable stash so you can later use them if you are a few chips short from getting a certain item.
