A Bot's and Mod's Signature Ability is a unique ability that is awakened and powered up by getting duplicate Bots and Mods of the same star rating (excluding 1-Stars). Each duplicate of a Bot or Mod increases its signature level by 5, up to the max level of 100. See individual articles for each Bot's and Mod's Signature Ability.
Blue stars indicate an unawakened bot or mod, and white stars indicate an awakened bot or mod.
Awakening Programs and Signature Upgrades[]
In version 4.0, Awakening Programs and Signature Upgrades were introduced, providing an alternative to unlock and upgrade Bots' Signature Abilities. Awakening Programs unlock a Bot's Signature Ability at level 1. Signature Upgrades upgrades a Bot's awakened Signature Ability by 1 level each. They come in various rarities and are either class-specific or work on any class. Up to 99 of each star rating of each type Signature Upgrade, and up to 3 of each Awakening Program can be stored.

Awakening Programs[]
Awakening Programs, for the most part, are exclusively available from Objectives and special Energon and IAP offers, which often contain 3, 4, or 5-Star Awakening Crystals for a random pick, or sometimes deals with a choice of class are offered.
