Transcript

1) Something Bigger

Part 1:

Optimus Prime (MV1): Windblade, did your aerial survey of the wasteland yield anything of tactical value?

Windblade: Good news or bad news?

Optimus Prime (MV1):You know better than to play word games. You're report, soldier.

Windblade: Well, it's pretty much all bad news. Megatron had established a series of outposts.

Optimus Prime (MV1): Indeed, he has been staking claim to territory beyond the Quintessons' control.

Windblade: And it looks like he's leaving some heavy hitters behind to guard his gains.

Optimus Prime (MV1): Heavy hitters? Explain.

Windblade: I'm talking heavy as in size and power. He has Mixmaster and Motormaster lying in wait for The Commander's squad.

Part 2:

Mixmaster: Do my optics deceive me or is it a march of the minicons?

Optimus Prime(MV1): Save the petty jokes, Decepticon.

Mixmaster: Petty, small...they are apt descriptions of you and your puny human Commander ally.

Optimus Prime(MV1): Has Megatron deluded you to believe that the size of your metal outweighs the will of your spark?

Mixmaster: Master Megatron deludes no one. He simply speaks the truth. Those who are weak and betray the ways of Cybertron will be destroyed. As will you, when the time is right.

Part 3:

Mixmaster: The time has come for me to end your trespassing through Megatron's realm.

Optimus Prime(MV1): Mixmaster, your problem is you have never been part of something larger than you. You serve no cause. You only serve an evil master.

Mixmaster: Are you kidding me? I am part of something larger than you'll ever know. Does the name Devastator not strike fear in your spark?

Optimus Prime(MV1): I do not see your fellow Constructicons. I see no help to save you. I see only a tormented bot manipulated by Megatron, and bound for defeat at the hands of the Commander.

Mixmaster: I need no help to crush you and your party. I am bot enough to see the last drops of Energon pour from your dead bodies!

2) Big Head

Part 1:

Optimus Prime: Commander, Megatron is reinforcing his troops ahead of us. He is doubling down on his size strategy.

Grimlock: Me Grimlock is best at size strategory! Me go crush little Megatron.

Optimus Prime: Relax big fella. Your size is unquestioned. But, the Commander is in charge. I trust brawn and brains will guide any decisions made.

Grimlock: Me Grimlock has biggest brain too. Me not waste time here. Call Grimlock when you want to win. Me go home and study Kup's war stories.

Me Grimlock learn best strategory!

Part 2:

Megatron (ROTF): Mixmaster, you allowed the human vermin Optimus calls the Commander to defeat you!?How could a creature so small, so insignificant, beat you?

Mixmaster: I admit it was a setback, my master. I underestimated the Commander's leadership skills.

Motormaster: That is because you are not a leader. You are simply part of a weak team. I am the leader, the head no less, of the mighty Stunticons!

Megatron(ROTF): And I lead YOU ALL!

Motormaster, you talk big. Now is the time to prove the size of your actions can match the girth of your stature and words.

Motormaster: Don't worry, Megatron. The bots the Commander places will be flattened into worthless pieces of scrap.

Part 3:

Motormaster: We meet yet again, Prime. And what is that you bring with you? Another of the lowly human you hold so dearly?

Optimus Prime: I bring with me the Commander who will defeat you and your master, Megatron. And what do you bring? It appears no Stunticons stand by you.

Motormaster: They are not here. So what? I need no others to destroy the likes of you!

Optimus Prime: Mixmaster expressed the same sentiments. How did that work out for him?

Motormaster: You'd have to ask him. Too bad you won't be able to when I'm done with you. Let's stop with the small talk...FIGHT!

3) Dissension

Part 1:

Optimus Prime(MV1): Commander, Teletraan's analysis of drone relays indicate this wasteland mission grows more grave.

Grimlock: Argh! Why Optimus bots always use many words but say nothing? Smart bots talk short and clear.

Ratchet: OK. Let me help, my friend... we aren't dealing with Megatron's henchbots anymore.

Grimlock: More argh! What means henchbots?! Use real words!

Ratchet: We mean it's Megatron. Megatron the true master of the Decepticons is waiting ahead for us.

Grimlock: Me have brain! Me Grimlock remember mission. Megatron thinks he big. Grimlock make him small. LET'S GO!

Optimus Prime(MV1): You must control your anger, soldier. Anger will not beat Megatron, brains will. Ratchet, head back to HQ and see what your brain can come up with to defeat our foe.

Part 2:

Grimlock: Why we go slow!? Is Commander too weak? ROLL OUT FASTER!

Optimus Prime(MV1): The path of prudence and readiness is one not traveled hastily. We roll at a speed that ensures victory.

Grimlock: BAH! More words... more no meaning. GO! GO!

Optimus Prime(MV1): That is enough Grimlock!

You have shown your temperament is not suited for the mission. I order you to return to the base!

Grimlock: Optimus plan is dumb! Me Grimlock have smart plan. Me go and show who has most brain... and most POWER!

Part 3:

Megatron(ROTF): It took you long enough to get here. I was worried you wouldn't show.

Optimus Prime(MV1): You knew we would show., paths crossing is our fate.

Megatron(ROTF): Your path contained sizable obstacles did it not?

Optimus Prime(MV1): Size doesn't matter. Spark does.

Megatron(ROTF): Spare me your virtuous blather. It won't save your spark from being extinguished!

Optimus Prime(MV1): Commander, I am receiving a concerning transmission from Ratchet. Something about Grimlock... running... amok.

Ratchet just cut out. I must return to HQ. You will have to take care of Megatron without me.

Megatron(ROTF): Ah, dissension in the ranks. The mighty Prime runs and leaves an insect human for me to play with. Perfect! A heart or a spark it makes no difference what I extinguish next.

Chapter 2: The King With Brains

1) Forced Retirement

Part 1:

Optimus Prime (MV1): Ratchet, status report. What happened back at HQ?

Ratchet: A whole lot of Grimlock is what happened. The big fella went on a rampage.

Optimus Prime(MV1): Is the situation under control? Were you able to subdue him?

Ratchet: Ummm, that's the problem. Before he could be apprehended, he fled with Ultra Magnus and Rhinox. But there's more...

Optimus Prime(MV1): More? I do not like the sound of this...

Ratchet: You won't. Before he left, Grimlock broke into my lab. He appears to have downloaded a linguistics program and then stole a mind control device I've been tinkering with... the hypno-chip.

Optimus Prime(MV1): I fear this may all be my fault. I chastised Grimlock abot not being suited for the mission. He said something about a plan. I fear he is trying to prove a point.

Ratchet: A dangerous point. If you bring our wayward warriors back to HQ, I can reverse the effects of the hypno-chip. But they're big bots, and that's a big if. Good luck, Commander.

Part 2:

Grimlock: Ultra Magnus, I have a matter to discuss with you.

Ultra Magnus: I don't mean to be rude, old friend, but your syntax is somewhat "advanced?"

Grimlock: Let's just say that I Grimlock have been doing some "studying," and my studies reveal a nefarious plan being implemented by Optimus Prime and that puny Earth human they call the Commander.

Ultra Magnus: I'm not sure about the Commander, but nefarious does seem out of character for a Prime.

Grimlock: The plan is the Commander's doing. Optimus and the other bots are following due to the effects of The Matrix of Leadership being in the Commander's possession.

Ultra Magnus: So, what is the plan?

Grimlock: The Commander says size and power are an obsolete military strategy. There is a restructuring of the forces with an emphasis on speed and agility. Our days as Autobots are numbered...

Ultra Magnus: We must combat this foolishness!

Grimlock: You will get your opportunity to combat such foolishness soon enough...

Part 3:

Ultra Magnus: Look who approaches, Optimus Prime and his tiny overlord, the Commander.

Optimus Prime(MV1): I do not know what madness Grimlock has put in your circuitry, but we came to help you.

Ultra Magnus: Ah, "help", that's what you are calling my forced retirement?!

Optimus Prime(MV1): I do not know what you mean by forced retirement. We are simply here to bring you back to HQ so Ratchet can reverse the effects of the hypno-chip.

Ultra Magnus: Return with you so Ratchet can put me in permanent stasis while The Commander carries out an overhaul of our forces to reward the weak and insignificant?

Never! I will not let you and the lowly Commander destroy the Autobots!

2) Science Deniers

Rhinox: Grimlock, why have you hauled me out into the middle of this wasteland? I could be back at HQ doing research and formulating a method for us to overcome the corrupting effects of this planet's Dark Energon.

Grimlock: You would rather be back among the science deniers and human apologists?

Rhinox: What are you talking about? Ratchet has exhibiting no such behaviour.

Grimlock: Ratchet is being used to deceive you. They've all fallen under the spell of the human propagandist they call the Commander.

Rhinox: Those are serious claims. What proof do you have?

Grimlock: The proof is on the way. They will send a rescue party... Ratchet in tow... to ostensibly "help" you.

Know this, you have a brain the ability to reason. You are a threat to them. Their "help" will be your demise.

Part 2:

Rhinox: Interesting. The Commander, a party of bots, and Ratchet bringing up the rear. It would appear Grimlock was right.

Ratchet: Grimlock...right? That's a novel idea. Right about what?

Rhinox: He said you and your master, the Commander, would come in search of me. He said you would offer help. Help that would lead to my demise.

Ratchet: He's manipulating you. He duped you using a device he stole called the hypno-chip.

Rhinox: In all my cycles of doing my research, I have never come across such a device.

Ratchet: It was science of our time, not yours.

Rhinox: It is not science, it is a ruse... a hoax made up to advance the Commander's purposes. We will settle this "scientific" debate later.

Part 3:

Grimlock: As I predicted, the human charlatan and his Cybertronian minions have come to save their beloved beast Rhinox.

Ratchet: We are here to help those in need, that would include you Grimlock.

Grimlock: I Grimlock need help? Bah, it is to laugh. The biggest, smartest and most powerful need not the help of the smallest, dumbest, and most feeble.

Rhinox: I'm with Grimlock on this one. Anyone that would sell out their own kind to an inferior race of technologically backward humans holds no hope for me.

Our tech, our research, our science is the key to OUR future. The self- destructive humans can fend for themselves.

Ratchet: And it will be our science that will return you to normal.

Grimlock: ENOUGH! Rhinox, show them what a real scientist can do... ATTACK!

3) Think About It

Part 1:

Optimus Prime(MV1): I am able to report a positive update, Commander. As promised, Ratchet was able to reverse the ill effects of Grimlock's hypno-chip.

Ultra Magnus: Other than a minor chunk of my memory data banks being deleted, I'm good to go.

Rhinox: Me too, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to butting heads with our Dinobot buddy should the occasion arise.

Optimus Prime(MV1): We could use the assistance. Grimlock surely will be a true test of our mettle. But remember, he is our friend and ally. His emotions and ego have taken hold of him as they have at times in the past.

Ultra Magnus: That is true, once again we must rally to bring our friend back into the fold.

Rhinox: Yeah, that's fine and good and all... but I'm not opposed to showing him a little tough love. I mean c'mon, he used a hypno-chip on me!

Part 2:

Rhinox: There he is! Optimus, let me go smack some sense into that small armed menace!

Optimus Prime(MV1): Stand down, Rhinox. I am not going to say it again. We are here to help. I am giving Grimlock fair warning and time to think about what he is doing.

Grimlock: You'll GIVE me some time to think about what I'm doing? Bah! I'll TAKE the time to enhance my Battle Tactics Mod.

Optimus Prime(MV1): So be it. You have been warned.

Grimlock: And you've proven your weakness and lack of a strategy to combat the likes of I Grimlock!

Part 3:

Optimus Prime(MV1): Time is up Grimlock. Have you come to your senses?

Grimlock: Always so arrogant, Optimus. I have my senses, and my brain, and my size, and my power. I do not need your approval to know I am the best, the greatest, The King!

Optimus Prime(MV1): The Commander and I have faced great hardship to get here. We are not leaving without you.

Grimlock: The old Grimlock might have said, "Me Grimlock know how to smash brains, maybe yours." But that was the past.

I Grimlock feel it is suffice to say... I will never return to a place where mighty Cybertronian bots allow the tiny little humans to command them. NEVER!

Part 4:

Optimus Prime(MV1): Are you ready to head back to HQ with us soldier?

Grimlock: Yes, and I do concede that the Commander is a skilled strategist. Commander used Commander brain and numbers to beat I... er... me Grimlock. Let's go home.

Maybe the other Dinobots will be there and we can go fishing.
