- Ranged Attacks
- Soundblaster’s Ranged Attacks have a 30% chance to Nullify an Armor or Melee Buff on the opponent. Increase chance by 10% for each 5 points of Combo Meter.
- Heavy Attack
- Buzzsaw fires 3 shots that track the opponent.
- Hitting an Unstoppable enemy causes Stun for 2.5 seconds.
- Special Attacks
- After ending a Special Attack, if Combo meter is even, Soundblaster gains 12~25% Attack Up for 10 seconds.
- After ending a Special Attack, if Combo meter is odd, the opponent gets a -15~30% Attack Debuff for 10 seconds.

- Fatal Feedback - Soundblaster scrambles the opponent’s sensors while Buzzsaw and Howlback run interference.
- Reduce the duration of enemy Buffs by 50% for 45 seconds.
- Each hit has a 5% chance to cause 10~20% Armor Break for 20 seconds. Increase chance by 1% for each hit on the Combo Meter.

Signal Scramble - Soundblaster can jam the opponent's sensors, preventing them from using their abilities.

Soundblasters' unique perk is his persistent Combo Meter, which increases the potency of ranged attacks and all his Specials. His attack power can be further enhanced with the Star Seeker Mastery.
Soundblaster has unusual features to his attacks, It's not immediately apparent what "Tracking" means when firing off three bolts from his Heavy Attack. But the fact only the first shot knock downs an opponent and Soundblaster can't sidestep till all the shots clear the screen suggest they are better at overtaking a heavy-to-heavy collision. (They are not Anti-Evade shots, nor not impossible to sidestep)
When knocking down opponents with Special 1, there is a half-second delay longer than usual for them to get back up.
His Signature Scramble is for preventing Buffs that have a percentile chance to activate. They do not prevent (most) guaranteed buff activation or reduce the debuff inflict chance of active buffs.

- Soundblaster can Armor Break can tear through most Brawler’s Armor Buffs. Soundblaster’s Signature Ability can also prevent Armor and Melee Buffs that Brawlers rely upon.
- Motormaster - Soundblaster's Ranged Attacks can nullify otherwise permanent Melee buffs, and a Heavy Buzzsaw attack will stop a dashing Motormaster dead in his tracks.
- Sunstreaker - Soundblaster's Signature Scramble will void his Premium Model, preventing activation of permanent buffs.
- Arcee - Signal Scramble could prevent her from tapping into Guardian's Ferocity and a precision buff.
- Bumblebee (DOTM) - Bumblebee can't change calibration modes while Signal Scrambled.
- Megatron (ROTF) - Megatron will feel the full force of Unstoppable Stun Heavy when enraged even though his Heavy Attacks will reset Soundblaster's Combo and he has a class advantage.

- Ironhide (ROTF) - Guaranteed critical heavy hits will blow apart his combo meter.

- Soundblaster's eyes were originally yellow in the 9.1 game files, but changed to toy-accurate red in his public launch of 9.2.
- Soundblaster never had a press release full portrait image (presumably of just the Robot mode like Soundwave and the early portraits) with the sudden announcement of the game shutting down.
