Special Missions are limited-time Solo-player missions to promote new characters and side stories. They are unlocked at player level 12.

The main type of Special Mission are Spotlight Missions, which are story-driven missions with multiple difficulty levels.

There are also occasional gauntlets such as Challenge Missions, which present you with short maps with six bots that have special Utility Module buffs in three difficulties. Or Fog of War, the most viable way to get all tiers of Class Spark essence especially tier 4, but doesn't appear that often.

Wheeljack has been experimenting on a device that could harness the many new and strange energies on New Quintessa. His new, and untested, Chrono-Vector Device could POTENTIALLY allow the user to travel along a time-bridge. Unfortunately the first unexpected test-run is manned by Grimlock, a dinobot on a mission. Can Wheeljack and Optimus Prime stop the mighty Grimlock from unravelling the past? Only TIME will tell!

Reforged - Code of a Hero[]

Till All Are Gone[]

The Reforging Energy triggered by Megatronus trying to awaken the mysterious Titan has thrown the world into disarray. Fearing what may be happening, the Autobots send a scout towards the epicentre of a disturbance, in hopes that they may identify the Titan, or at least find some answers. However, the communications they received were troubling, before stopping all together... Things go from bad to worse when a new foe wearing a familiar face joins the fray. The sinister Nemesis Prime. Created using a subspace impulse cloner, Nemesis Prime is a malicious copy of the heroic Optimus Prime. Although he wears the Decepticon insignia, it’s unclear where his loyalties lie. Now Commander, it’s up to you and Optimus to try and hold things together and fight off the emerging darkness in the suspenseful new Spotlight Mission, Till All Are Gone!

Two Stingers, No Clue! - Adding to the troubles of an already war-torn world, the Predacon forces are on the move. Luckily, those forces number just two: Scorponok and Waspinator. The destructive duo are looking for a Space Bridge to bring down more of their kind, but seem to be bumping into Bots in the middle of far more epic and odd missions than they are on. Will their spiteful stingers wound this world, or will they merely be a buzzing annoyance?

The Decepticons have developed cloaking technology and are using it to ambush us out in the field. They must be stopped.

  • Notes: In this first Fog Of War Map, Commanders will be challenged by unknown assailants on what looks like an empty map.
    • These cloaked Bots guard the way to your final struggle with the one and only, Megatronus!
    • Of course no challenge is without rewards and this will be a way for Commanders to obtain hard to find Class Essence! Getting past these ambushes come with a high energy cost, but will reward you with Class Spark Essence for the Bot that you defeat.
    • There are 4 difficulties to choose from. The higher the Difficulty, the rarer the Tier of Class Spark Essence!
    • Deception - 10 T1 Class Spark Essence per Fight
    • Deceit - 60 Class T2 Spark Essence per Fight
    • Disguise - 135 T3 Class Spark Essence per Fight
    • Darken - 40 T4 Class Spark Essence per Fight
    • You may encounter an occasional tougher Enemy! While they’re more dangerous, defeating them will reward 4x the Class Essence!

The devious doubles and clever clones SEEM to have left New Quintessa but they have created havoc in their wake. Will things get scrapped or will we find that GRIMLOCK SAVES EMBER FESTIVAL!?

Wheeljack is joined by some back-up Bots to see if they can reach the space bridge. Wheeljack thinks he may have found a way to turn down the code of fear that Dirge has put out, but as with many of Wheeljack’s experiments things don’t go as planned.
